Selfcare for Upper Cervical Instability

Selfcare for Upper Cervical Instability

If you have been diagnosed with CCI or upper cervical instability you have likely struggled finding a fitness program that established a foundation for a safe return to fitness level conditioning. Those with upper cervical instability must establish a level of neutral spine conditioning that exceeds that of the normal population. Specifically, your lower trapezius muscles must be strong enough to maintain upper thoracic extension (aka Chest Lift) against loads that exceed that of those without upper cervical instability. This is "super" ability to maintain Chest Lift posture picks up the slack of the ligamentous instability associated with upper cervical instability.

The selfcare for Upper Cervical Instability video library, when paired with telehealth physical therapy coaching, will medically guide you through 9 levels of neutral spine conditioning to safely transition you back to fitness level strengthening with modifications.
